'Lord of the Rings' Soundtrack Voted UK's Favorite Movie Music

The iconic soundtrack of the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy has achieved a remarkable feat as U.K.'s favorite movie music. The musical masterpiece composed by Howard Shore bested some of the most renowned soundtracks in history, like 'Schindler’s List' and 'Star Wars,' which were composed by the prolific John Williams. Notably, John Williams boasted an impressive five entries within the top 20 and a total of 11 compositions in the esteemed top 100.

U.K. radio station, Classic FM, curated the Top 100 music scores as part of its annual Movie Music Hall of Fame. This year's edition garnered participation from over 1,000 voters.
