Shōgun Leads 76th Emmys with 25 Nominations

F/X's Shōgun, a non-English language program made history at the 76th Emmys with 25 nominations. Both of its lead stars, Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai scored their first-acting nominations.

It is the second non- English nominated in the drama category, following Squid Game nomination in 2022.

Shōgun is a story of a power-struggle in Japan, narrated from the perspective of John Blackthorne, a British sailor who becomes a Samurai.
