Emily Blunt Earns First Oscar Nomination
Emily Blunt has received her first Oscar nomination! Her performance as the wife of physicist and Los Alamos director J. Robert Oppenheimer, portrayed by Cillian Murphy, has earned her a nod from the Academy in the Supporting Actress category.
Blunt is in competition with Danielle Brooks for 'The Color Purple,' DA'Vine Jay Randolph for 'The Holdovers,' America Ferrera for 'Barbie,' and Jodie Foster for 'Nyad.'
The winners will be announced during the 96th Academy Awards on March 10.
