Eddie Murphy in Talks to Star in Pink Panther Reboot

Eddie Murphy is up for some mystery-solving!

He is in talks to star as the fictional French police detective inspector Clouseau in the Pink Panther reboot.

Peter Sellers pioneered the role in 1963s The Pink Panther. Alan Arkin, Roger Moore, and Steve Martin took on the same role.

The reboot will be directed by “Sonic the Hedgehog” filmmaker Jeff Fowler with Chris Bremner (“Bad Boys for Life,” “The Man From Toronto”) writing the script.
