Robot Conducts Orchestra

Meet YuMi, the two-armed robot conductor.

Designed by Swiss firm ABB, the machine has made its debut at Pisa's Verdi Theatre, to mark the First International Festival of Robotics in the Tuscan city.

But how does the resident conductor feel about his new rival? Well...pretty good. He was the one that taught YuMi all of the right moves... even holding its arms in rehearsals.
